I had so many friends recommend this spot so I knew I had to try it. It's a little food cart on a street corner in front of a Tierra Garat. I'm glad I showed up right before they opened as a long line formed quickly. I ordered the chicken tinga quesadilla and the chorizo&beans quesadilla. Both were so tasty, but I did like the chicken tinga a bit more. Each quesadilla was only 30 pesos!

On the side of the road, but usually a long line. They speak enough English to easily order and you pay after you finish eating. Lots of options to choose from, the blue tortillas are great. Prices are affordable and portion size are large! Cash only.

Literally the best quesadillas you'll ever have anywhere in the world! The only downside is it is cash only. Fast service, amazing food, perfect street food ambiance! This is a must try if you're in Mexico City!

A no-frills street food experience serving up absolutely delicious quesadillas with freshly made blue corn tortillas. We had this probably 3/4 times over the span of 9 days and didn't get even close to sick of it. Keep in mind you'll have to eat your food standing on the sidewalk, but I don't think most people are coming here for the ambiance. Make sure to try the huitlacoche quesadilla!

Dirt cheap, kinda workers, and delicious food. We came around 2 or 3 pm and there was no line but they were unfortunately out of most everything. We didn't expect them to run out so early in the day so I'd recommend coming earlier than later! We enjoyed the tacos but felt that there were a few other spots that wow'ed us a bit more.

Hands down on my top experiences in Mexico City. They are on a street corner and you order your food and eat on the sidewalk and pay after. Everything I got was freakin delicious. I loved the green tortillas too! Trust me this is a MUST when you are in Mexico City!!!!

If you come to CDMX, you must try Jenni's when in the area! It is a simple, casual experience but it's filled with deliciousness and flavors! Jenni's is a food stall located in Roma Norte and they are experts in one thing: quesadillas. You can pick from a variety of fillings from mole verde, chicken tinga, zucchini flower to huitlacoche (corn fungus). There's so many options it's a lot of fun! I ordered: * huitlacoche - this was delicious and so flavorful. I loved trying this in cdmx, it's sweet and yummy. Definitely pairs really well with the salsas * mole verde - if you are looking for something with a slight tang, this is great! I lvoed it We really enjoyed the experience here - everything was made fresh to order including the tortillas. Service was fast and these cost us less than $2 a quesadilla! Would definitely go back!

Impressive this street stand has such a following, long line and presence (even on google maps). After eating there, it's easy to understand why. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, prices are great! It's made right in front of you and they have a very veg friendly menu.

Awesome stall for quesadillas in Roma Norte! Be prepared for a wait, I came here twice on my recent trip and had to wait 15 min and 1 hr each time but it's worth it! We were able to try a variety of quesadillas, including the zucchini flower, huitlacoche, mole verde, chicharrón (stewed or chopped) and they were all fantastic with the blue corn tortillas that they use! My favorite had to be the mole verde with shredded chicken and surprisingly the veggie quesadillas (zucchini flower and huitlacoche or corn smut). It's a great way to try huitlachoche as well if you haven't and are a bit hesitant to. Everything tastes great in a quesadilla and they have a few types of salsas if you want more flavor with the veggie options! They are also great to go (para llevar) and they even packed a small plastic bag of salsa for me. The ladies are so nice and welcoming and they have an English menu as well which makes the ordering process a lot easier if you don't speak Spanish. Definitely give it a try but do expect a line! Pro trip: you can grab a coffee or hot chocolate at the Tierra Garat this stall is located in front of while you wait.
